One Day Workshop

Beating the Curve is a one-day workshop to help businesses grow in an economic downturn. At the end of the event, attendees will have heard from eight experts delivering practical training slots, each with 3 key takeaways to make a real difference in your business NOW. Plus, this course can be part funded by SYMCA and South Yorkshire Skills Bank for up to 2 people per South Yorkshire-based organization by a minimum of 40%. Attendees will walk away with a printed workbook containing a recap of each of the training sessions, along with 24 key actions from the experts they can take in 2023 to help them Beat the Curve and grow their business. Additionally, attendees will have several opportunities during the day to network with the other like-minded professionals and the experts in the room. Toward the end of the day the experts will deliver a Q&A panel providing specific advice to the audience.

After the Event

Each attendee will be allocated an expert as a point of contact for follow-up after the event. For 30 days after the training attendees will have access to an online chat so they can ask the experts any specific questions on any current issues they may have.

This workshop is perfect for business owners and stakeholders of businesses in the South Yorkshire region. It will take place at Barnsley College Business Centre on Tuesday the 21st of March 2023, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the cost per delegate is £300.00+VAT. (but a min of 40% of this can be claimed back from South Yorkshire Skills Bank!) This includes refreshments, tea/coffee, and a buffet lunch.
