About The Business Village

The Business Village actively supports local businesses by offering flexible managed work space and offices to rent to businesses in approved business sectors, together with targeted business support.

The Business Village is located on two sites in Barnsley; at Wilthorpe and Cudworth. Situated in attractive landscaped environments with ample car parking, the buildings present an impressive image for client companies and their customers. Both locations are within easy reach of the M1, A1 and Barnsley town centre.

As a non-profit distribution organisation, our objective is to realise a reasonable return on our asset base to enable regular re-investment and maintenance of our infrastructure. We rely on assistance from the Barnsley business community, the local council and SYMCA to support our efforts.

We also offer free one-to-one business coaching to tenant businesses with growth potential. Our management team have expertise in a wide variety of business areas and will help give you the confidence and “know how” to grow your business. We also have access to part funded support from both the Sheffield & Leeds City Region Growth Hubs, and via our partners at Enterprising Barnsley. Access to support and business coaching is via our dedicated Business Development Manager Kevin Steel.
