What is The Creative Collective?
It is designed to create a hub for creative businesses to collaborate and do business together in Barnsley and the surrounding areas.
The Creative Collective will take place monthly at The Business Village in Wilthorpe and they encourage all businesses to continue the conversation after each event takes place. It is hosted by marketeer and business woman Caroline Haywood, founder of tenant business Clea Digital.
So if you wish to collaborate or need direction from local businesses in the area in the creative space, we would love to see you at the event.
What is included?
The event will take place from 11:00 – 12:30 on Monday 9th of October is FREE to attend and will include free parking, refreshments, and a keynote speaker per month to learn from.
The agenda will be as follows:
11:00 – Arrival and Open Networking
11:10 – Quick fire introduction round
11:20 – Our Guest Speaker Craig Burgess, Creative Director at Genius Division will be doing a talk entitled, ‘And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for you meddling clients.‘ With over 18 years of experience as a designer, marketer & agency owner, Craig has many client stories. In this talk & Q+A session, he will share secret intelligence from the front line of the creative industries on how to deal with clients, without losing your marbles (or turning into a Scooby Doo villain).

Speaker: Our speakers will vary each month, but they will cover a topic in the creative sector. From graphic design to websites, to social media, to marketing strategy, to wellbeing through creativity, etc.
Parking: Free to park at the Business Village, but please enter your car registration at reception.
