Job Description – RELIEF CLEANING STAFF (WILTHORPE)

Job Title: Relief Cleaner

Reports to: Cleaning Supervisor

Overall Responsibility to: Operations Manager

Summary –

Aims

To take responsibility to ensure that the Wilthorpe site maintains a clean, tidy and professional image. The job is essentially a ‘hands on’ practical position requiring individual initiative.

Skills Required

Excellent cleaning skills
Diplomacy
Commitment to the site and its tenants

Main Responsibilities and Duties

To undertake cleaning services within BBIC buildings including cleaning of:

• Toilets, utility rooms, common corridors and all internal doors, door handles, push plates and tenant signs.
• BBIC offices, meeting rooms and common areas.
• Entrances to buildings and interior and exterior glassware, door frames etc.
• Tenant units as per each individual requirement.

Performance Indicators

Controlled cleaning costs.
A clean and tidy site.

Essential Requirements

Should live locally and have easy access to BBIC.

Additional Factors

Staff to be of clean and tidy dress and personal appearance compatible with the image of the BBIC. Where necessary, PPE will be provided.

Working Hours

AS AND WHEN BASIS TO COVER FOR HOLIDAYS AND SICKNESS – Monday to Friday: 4.30pm – 8.30pm
