Exciting refurbishment at The Business Village in Cudworth

The Business Village in Cudworth has seen some big changes recently. Thanks to major investment, the place has been given a modern makeover and is now leading the charge in carbon efficiency.

Occupancy levels at Cudworth have been soaring, especially since the refurbishment. It’s become the go-to spot for companies of all sizes in the area. But what’s really exciting is the number that are also joining the Net Zero Accelerator, showing a real commitment to sustainability.

Jayne and Toni, who head up the front desk, make sure everything onsite runs like clockwork. They have 26 years’ experience between them and know the local area inside out, adding real value to companies using the premises.

There’s an interesting history behind the site too. It all started when the local coal mines closed down and there was a push to bring in new industries. The Business Village played a big part in making that happen.

State-of-the-art meeting rooms in Cudworth

Fast forward to today, and the Cudworth site has undergone a £50K programme of refurbishment. It includes a brand new roof and energy-efficient upgrades, including solar panels, motion-sensor LED lighting, and a heating management system which can be controlled centrally by Jayne and Toni.

But the icing on the cake is a revamp of the communal areas and meeting rooms.

If you need space for a meeting, Cudworth has you covered, whether it’s for a small team of 12, or a big group of 50. The rooms have modern seating, new carpets, and state of the art projection. The site has ultra-fast Wi-Fi and virtual meetings are easy to host using the Meeting Owl. Just ask for details!

What’s more, the site has free parking, and no ANPR cameras to worry about. Plus, the shops and cafes on Cudworth High Street are just around the corner. But if you’d rather stay onsite, Jayne and Toni can provide refreshments, and put you in touch with a local caterer who will deliver lunch.

Emma Leeder from Leeder Safeguarding Training & Consultancy loves the new meeting rooms:

“We live in Cudworth and have been a virtual tenant of The Business Village for around three years now. The refurbished meeting rooms are amazing, they have a much more modern feel. They’re a good size and have fast internet which is essential for our online training. The staff onsite are always friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty of parking. We like to support local businesses where we can, so having this space right on our doorstep has been great, especially when we were renovating our house!”

Local businesses invited to explore Cudworth’s meeting spaces

Local businesses are being encouraged to check out Cudworth’s new meeting rooms to see what they can offer.

Kevin Steel, Business Development Manager at The Business Village says:

“Whether you need space for an important meeting, or just fancy a change of scenery, Cudworth has something for everyone. And, if you’re a tenant, you’re welcome to book space at any of our other sites too.”

With a mix of businesses calling Cudworth home, from data analysts to fruit importers, there’s a real sense of community there. New businesses are moving in, and existing ones are expanding, drawn in by the welcoming atmosphere and modern facilities.
